Scroll bar working in IE and Opera but not Firefox?

Hello,

I have two scroll boxes on the same page. The first scroll box is good in IE
but the words will not wrap correctly in Firefox. The second scroll box is
good in all browsers.

You can see this on a test page at
http://www.usernomics.com/ergonomic-...essories5.html .

Can anyone see why the words will not wrap correctly in the first scroll box
in Firefox?

gave up because it was beyond my level of knowledge.

The scroll boxes should just have a vertical scroll bar - no horizontal.

My Firefox shows the top scroll box as having a horizontal scroll bar. And
it seems that words are not wrapping.

Is this not what you see in Firefox?

hyphens ('-'). AFAIK you can't control this behavior in HTML/CSS.

different information in each. The top one will not word wrap but the second

Yes, it does. In both boxes lines *are* wrapped (otherwise each link
would have shown up at a single wide line). A space is the obvious place
where a line can be wrapped. IE also wraps after a hyphen but Firefox
(and any other Gecko based browser) does not. My guess is that the line
containing "[something]-centered" causes the horizontal scrollbar to appear.

I think you are right. Now that additional posts have gone into the scroll
box, the horizontal line went away. There must have been a hyphen in one of
the headlines in the box.
