Image links in message boards

When you put an image link into a message posting (like an ezboard, not
like this group), a longer url won't be accepted. What diff does the
length make?

Sometimes if a colon is in the url, that also won't be accepted.

This depends only on the BBS software being used. You should look for a
support group or forum for this specific software.
