Cross Domain Cookies

In a frameset some pages come from Domain A and some from Domain B, the
frameset comes from Domain A. The content from Domain B cannot set cookies
in IE.
I remember that I need to put some kind of file in the root dir or the page
dir to tell IE that it is allowed to accept the cookie.

Can anyone tell me path and name and provide me with such a file?

You should be able to set a cookie on a particular domain using the
"domain" property of the http response.
For exemple, your page on DomainB could set a cookie that could only be
read from DomainA.

Maybe you are referring to P3P ? Your problem has nothing to do with it
certainly
