My colleague wants to start a HTML from CD (no internet connection).
This ought to open Internet Explorer, but with Service Pack 2 all
pop-ups are disabled. The question: is there a way for JavaScript or
any other approach to trigger a IE (and other browser...) dialog along
the lines of "Do you want to trust this CD to open pop ups from now on?"
By the way: I would avoid pop-ups, or make DHTML out of them, or avoid
JS in the first place, and I don't expect an easy answer. There may
likely be no answer at all. But hey, maybe someone can help my
colleague.
