I have my home page with Yahoo.ca.
I like some of the content they give me, but could do without some of the
adds and buttons that come with the free page.
My question is, can I make my own home page out of the content that I want
from my yahoo home page?
If so how?
For content feeds, like on your My Yahoo page, then look around on
Yahoo's HELP or resource pages about RSS Feeds. I know they offer them
for Yahoo Groups [only works if the Group's archives are publically
accessible, not Members Only]
I don't know off hand if they offer RSS feeds of all the feeds
available for users to opt for on their My Yahoo pages. If they don't
you may want ot check out the sources themselves to see if they offer
RSS Feeds script you can copy and use on your site.
The Ad Square you can get rid of only by upgrading to a pay plan;
$4.95 is their cheapest.
In terms of using their online editors and not wanting the superflous
extra touches ... then use Advanced Editor where you wil have to
manually insert the markup or cut and paste your copy of the HTML file
into the text field then click on Save.
