Environment variables and HTML.

Q
Hello,

I am going to create a web-site consisting of many pages which shold
to have the same style (for example background color). In the case if
I whant to change background of my web-site I need to change
background color of each of many pages by hand, what seems to me very
inconvenient. The only solution what I see now is to say to HTML files
to read value of background color from value of a given environment
variable of Unix OS. Is such possibility exist? May be somebody know
better solution?

Thank you in advance!

Definitely. You want to read up on CSS: Cascading Style Sheets.

Try http://tranchant.plus.com/web/css-tutorial/ It starts right off
with what you need.
