My project requires IIS (dotNet) and Apache to consume the same web
service.
What's the recommended way to display the same HTML output from both
platforms? I've read about server-side XSLT rendering HTML which
seems to be common ground. Does anyone have experience with this
(e.g. WYSIWYG page design)?
Any other suggestions?

Your question didn't make sense. "Consume"? What are you referring to?
With any webserver, unless it's a damn stupid one, you get out what you put
in. Either should serve the same HTML in the same way, barring minor
differences in HTTP headers.
If you're talking about server generated HTML (e.g. scripting, SSI, etc.),
then give more explicit examples of what you're trying to do, but remember
that this is a HTML authoring newsgroup, not a server configuration one.
If it's a server question you'll get a better answer elsewhere.
