Inserting Live Audio onto a Basic HTML Document

P: n/a
Hey,

I'm looking for a code that can insert live audio, just like live
video using Netmeeting as a host. The code I have for video is:

<HTML><OBJECT ID="NetMeeting"
CLASSID="CLSID:3E9BAF2D-7A79-11d2-9334-0000F875AE17"><PARAM
NAME="MODE" VALUE="RemoteNoPause"></OBJECT><SCRIPT>NetMeeting.CallTo("callto:90.0.0.18 5+type=ip");</SCRIPT></HTML>

If there is one that can apply the same type of function, but using a
plug and play microphone, rather than a webcam.

Thanks.

Use a streaming media server, link to it.
, just like live
video using Netmeeting as a host.

Leave the choice of player to the client.

Can you clarify how to link to the server?
That's the code I'm looking for.

That code doesn't look very robust in a cross-platform, cross-browser
way. It uses an object with only the proprietary "classid" attribute,
not the better-supported reference to an object by URL and MIME type.
Also, the script lacks the mandatory "type" parameter to indicate what
scripting language is used. Hence, the code is invalid, and probably
won't work in most browsers (I doubt it does anything meaningful in
Mozilla, for instance).
