overlapping tags

In a html page I have <form>, <table> and <td> tags overlapping each
other. Will this cause some browsers to not render the page as
intended?
Thanks,
Yasaswi

Yes. Elements should nest not overlap.

Yep.

Think of elements as boxes which go inside each other. The HTML box is
big, it holds the HEAD and BODY box, and all the other boxes go in those.
Every box must be within some other box.

Browsers can't read intentions, so you can assume that if you feed them
invalid code, what they do with it will probably not match your intentions.
My question to you is: Why aren't you using valid code?
