Fonts

Is there a web source where I can find fonts
and their support by the various browsers?
If not, is there a Times Roman or Aster or
Baskerville etc. (all more or less the same),
look-alike font that all / most browsers support?

Many thanks,
Adrian.

Times New Roman will be available on many browsers.

serif will be available on even more browsers [1] and will usually be
a serif font.

Nothing's available on all browsers because not all browsers support
varying fonts or even the visual display of text.

{ font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; }
will do most of what you want. Read up on CSS for more information on
this.

[1] All serif fonts look the same to the untrained eye.
