hi,
today i saw my website with IE and i was a bit shocked, cause of the
layout. Normal we use only firefox and it looks good, but IE...
I was able to fix most of the layout errors, but not all.
That is the page: http://www.lippelt-back.com/Backoefen.4.0.html
On the right side, you can see the navi. In the navi, there is on the
left side a margin or padding, which i don't now, where it is in my css
file http://lippelt-back.com/fileadmin/te...ew-body-ie.css
screenshots:
firefox: http://talking.dyndns.org/temp/firefox-ok.jpg
IE6: http://talking.dyndns.org/temp/ie-broken.jpg
Also, i have a div class called "happy". It is under the menu on the
left side (look at firefox screenshot), this class looks strange and
does not have background color, if i remove the padding. What is also
strange, i had to give my #rightnav a "width", otherwise the menu is
extremly slim and looks urgly :-/
where has IE the problem?

The problem may be in your page, and you might just have adjusted it enough
so that it happens to work in Firefox. The W3C validator reports 21 errors.
Fix those, and then see if you still have trouble. http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=ht...oefen.4.0.html

Was that funny? Perhaps next time you'd want to consider avoiding the
impression that you think our time, collectively, is less valuable
than your time, individually.

i never sad, that i want a fix solution ! It means only that i(!) do not
have the time, to fix this errors (from my page). This errors comes from my
CMS system, which i don't now to fix it today. For solving my problem,
these errors are unimportant and _i_ can do otherthings that are more
important. So i never said that my time is more important, than others.
So, don't be so blinkered and belief first on the good thing :-)
