Embedding a Form in an HTML E-Mail - Possible?

Hi folks,

I will test this when I get back, but just for now can any of you
confirm if the following idea will work...

I would like to embed a form into an HTML E-Mail. If I set the POST
action to a formmail script on the web, will there be a problem?

Also, what happens once the user clicks submit - is there any way to
define what they'll see in the e-mail window?

Would the use of an iFrame work (the iFrame html file being hosted
elsewhere)?

Any ideas appreciated.

Hi,

I'm really interested in how this can work -i dont have much
experience in this area but was just thinking.. when I click a link
from an email in hotmail, it opens it up in a new 'hotmail' window, of
which the URL in the browser window is still a 'hotmail' url- loads of
additional information in there. If you're a hotmail user, you'll know
what I mean.

Given that the most popular way of passing information from form to
script is through the post method using a URL, would the details from
your form be passed correctly?

Hmm, food for thought, let me know how you get on!

Works just nicely. An trivially easy cue for every spam filter to reject it.
