Subscription Web Site

Ok. I am fairly computer literate and have built a number of simple
web sites before but am now working on a new project. I have just got
FrontPage 2003 and want to build a subscription web site that will
hold a simple database of video clips etc. Can someone point me in the
right direction to start off. The site will need to be able to 1) let
users register and create their own login details to access the site
and 2)display a database (?) of all videos on that site, accessed by a
hyper link. If someone could point me in the right direction i.e. 3)
What type of hosting package do i need?. 4) Whats all this Sharepoint
and asp.net stuff? Should be a good project! Any assistance would be
appreciated.

Right. I think we all know what you mean by that.

Ditch Frontpage immediately. Find out what platform your host is using.
Hopefully it'll be PHP and an SQL database like MySQL. Learn those -
what you want to do is quite easy once you have a good grasp of those.
