fixed image and repeating pattern in body

Hi there.
sorry, for the first posting. I pressed the wrong button...

Again. I`m trying to realize an css for the body-tag which contains an fixed
image in the upperleft and instead of an background-color I want to have an
repeating pattern.
I'm able to get the either the fixed image working or the repeating pattern,
but not both together.

In Short: I'm trying to get an image like in
http://www.benmeadowcroft.com/webdev...s/spider1.html on the
pattern like in http://www.robert-blasius.de

Each advice is welcome.
Thanks
Robert Blasius

You can only have one background image per box, but you could put the
non-prepeating one in a box that is a descendant of the other one.
'html' and 'body' would be nice, but some browsers do not support
styling 'html'.

Use background images carefully!
