Double float problem

I have created a liquid layout with 3 columns, the left and right cols
being floated, and inside the middle column, I have a list of items that
are floated to the left so that I have a pure liquid layout. Problem is:
all that comes after the list of items is floated to left too:

The word "Article" is on the same level of the last image at times,
depending on the width of the window. Now, if I clear this word "Article",
using h1 { clear: both; }, it jumps below the whole layout because the 2
columns are floated!

I can't use absolute positionning for the columns because the distance
from the top will never be the same.
Is there a way to prevent this?

For the <li> element, remove "float:left", add "display:inline".

remember: changing the h1 now means also changing also the first time
you used h1 ( for images)

centralized, width the same width as the photo (100px)?
