Tooltip: How to position it properly?

I am putting tooltips on a form to assist people while filling out the
form.

Problem is: the tooltip is aligned to the left instead of the right border
of the question mark icon. Please hover over the help icon to see what
happens:

How can I position the tooltip exactly to the right of the help icon?
Thanks,

The question mark is blocking the left edge of the tooltip. Move the
tooltip a little bit more to the right.
