which css class affects my html component?

I have a maintenance todo of changing the shading on a form text inputs
(all input fields) and the button outline contrast.

This app has 5 or more large css files and fiddling did find which
class affected my page and components.

Any debugging or tricks you can share to find what css file and class I
need to change?

tnx, curt

The Web Developer extension for FF/mozilla also has ways to find the
style rules for a particular element.
