Firefox Mozilla Browser Fonts / rich text / webmail question

Firefox Mozilla Browser Fonts / Format / rich text / webmail question

I have Comcast. They do not support Firefox so they won't help me.

When I use Mozilla firefox browser to access my web mail like comcast
webmail, I cannot change fonts, underline, bolden words. I cannot see
the icons.

I think I have the same problem using Yahoo and Firefox.

(When I used to use IE I did not have this problem)

Maybe it is possible ... I do not know.

Can anyone pls help me.

I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Anna

Not really a question about stylesheets, eh?
I have Comcast. They do not support Firefox so they won't help me.
"do not support" is something of a misnomer. It means "Firefox"
doesn't appear in their scripts, so they can't tell you anything about
it. It will, however, work fine on a comcast connection, or *any*
connection.

If your webmail interface is written anything like my AT&T interface,
there are browser sniffers, so they can use IE-specific stuff for your
HTML email. The Plain Text works fine.

See above: browser sniffer.

Why do you want to use HTML email? It will approximately quadruple the
size of your mail, and many recipients will not be able to see it
anyway. I wouldn't.
I would really appreciate it.

My pleasure.

Stop that.

I use Firefox/Thunderbird combo and have comcast broadband. Use POP3.

Go download Thunderbird for mail and set up your mail to come there instead
of accessing it over the 'net.

Assuming you also have them for broadband, just put in your user name, use
mail.comcast.net as incoming and smtp.comcast.net as outgoing. The first time
you check your mail it will prompt for password. Enter it and let it save the
password so you don't have to enter it every time.
