CSS with a Mouse Over Event Help!

Hello Everyone, ive edited some great code i found @
http://simplythebest.net/scrip*ts/ and am close to finish, but would
like 1 more tweak in it before it goes live.
The page can be found here:
http://www.areyouxtreme.com/te*st/test.html
Basically what im trying to do is make it so for every submenu item,
the content image (image in the top right) will change to a different
image which i designate. Currently it only changes by each main menu
type
Ive been cracking on this for a while now and cant seem to come to a
result.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

What is http://simplythebest.net/scrip=ADts/ ( The requested URL
/scripÂ*ts/ was not found on this server )

The page can be found here:
http://www.areyouxtreme.com/te*st/test.html

And http://www.areyouxtreme.com/te=ADst/test.html ( The requested URL
/teÂ*st/test.html was not found on this server )

I get the first URL's from looking at your messages source, the second
from the server reply. The address bar shows for the first link
http://simplythebest.net/scrip%C2%ADts/ and for the second link
http://www.areyouxtreme.com/te%C2%ADst/test.html

So I guess something is wrong somewhere and I can't get to the pages.

I can only see it working in Explorer - nothing in Firefox. As Firefox
is the most standards compliant browser I suggest you start tweaking it
for that first and then you know you are on the right lines. As a rule
you shouldn't be depending on proprietary browser code to make a
functioning website.

Jepp, works only in IE. That's because of an error in the Javascript
that comes up, one error for eatch link:

Error: ie is not defined

You should start over.

Besides the general design flaws (not flexible, puny absolute text
sizes, etc.), that "great code" you found doesn't work in any of the
current wave of modern browsers: Opera, mozilla (firefox, NS7, etc.), or
KHTML (Safari, Konqueror). Your site will probably be unusable for a lot
of people.

DHTML menus are generally a bad idea anyway. Most require JavaScript to
be enabled or the site is unusable. Even with JS enabled, they usually
require the user to have a certain level of dexterity to position the
mouse correctly. That's something I don't have a lot of. Needless to
say, DHTML menus can be really frustrating to use.

Well i had great fun making it. And i definitly see the issues here.
So i must ask, what now? What should i code in to make a page the most
useful for everyone, yet keep the fuctionality you see. Atleast
something close to the idea.

The site works in ie www.areyouxtreme.com/geekwear/test.html

Thanks everyone for looking at this n00b web developer.
