drop-down menu doesn't get displayed in IE 6.0 (sometimes)

Hi,
I have adapted a drop down menu from USC webpage (www.usc.edu).
The link to my page is
http://www-scf.usc.edu/~swarup/test/test.html
The links to the CSS ans JS files are:
http://www-scf.usc.edu/~swarup/test/...s/dropdown.css
http://www-scf.usc.edu/~swarup/test/...tes/default.js

The problem I'm facing is that in IE 6 when the mouse gets over the
drop down menu it doesn't get displayed sometimes (and sometimes it
does).
However, in Mozilla it seems to work fine. I don't understand what's
the bug in the code!

Could someone please help me out?

Thanks,
Rajat.

you should remove the space between your dropmenu items and the topmenu.
when you move from the topmenu to a dropmenu item it will go over
'empty' space -> :hover is cancelled -> dropmenu disappears.

btw .. here the dropmenu do appear everytime i hover over the topmenu
(about us, useful links)

Yes... the drop downs are only intended for the about us , useful links
sections. other sections just have image replacements.

However, in IE 6 these menus appear but when you take the mouse over
the sub menu items the submenu disappears. However, I'll see what
happens when I remove the space. Thanks a lot!
