Hi there.
I though that maybe somebody has gone through this before. I've checked
out the group, and I haven't been able to find anything on this topic.
(ok, ok, I didn't check the posts one-by-one).
This is:
As CSS2.1 says, if you put a height:100% property in an element, it
should try extend its height as far as his parent lets him. This way, I
tried the following code:
#contentdiv{
width:277px;
position:relative;
height:100%;
margin-left-width:1px;
}
#imagediv{
position:absolute;
left:-1px;
top:100%;
}
<table>
<tr>
<td>
<div id="contentdiv">
blah blah, <div id="imagediv"><img src="bottom_bar.gif"></div>
</div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
as you can see, what I'm trying to do is 'decorating' the cells of a
table with an image below the bottom of them (note: the image has also
a link, that's why I can't use background-image).
In firefox it works great, but ie6, doesn't expand the contentdiv's
height till the bottom of the cell, so my image are not equally aligned
with the bottom of the cell.
I'm going sick on this, but this is such a silly thing, tmat I'm pretty
sure It's been already solved by anybody.
