Explorer 5.5 print bug?

I'm trying to set up media style sheets.

It's pretty simple. Two divs. One as an include with menu and other main
body. No images, just text and the odd link. Both absolutely positioned
for screen but set to static for print.

Even before I add the media print style sheet IE 5.5 is laying out the
page for print with every word taking a new line.

If I reset the magnification in IE's print preview the problems fixed.

That's all well and good, but can you create a test case and provide a URL?

Of course - sorry
I'll do that and repost.

Most folks know you can start up an instance of Internet Explorer by saying "x=win32com.client.Dispatch('InternetExplorer.Application.1')" and you get a WIN32 object with a "Document" object that has arrays of "Link"/"Form"/"Frame" subobjects, and methods like "Navigate" where you can force the IE instance to browse to a new URL. What folks...

Hello, When I open an HTML document by Internet Explorer 6 and then print the document on a color inkjet printer, some of the colors are rendered incorrectly (they appear much darker than they should be, almost black). Hello, I have a program that does the following: When a user clicks on a row in a VB.NET datagrid, it will open a web page in Internet Explorer (that corresponds to that item in the selected row in the datagrid). Hello, I'm involved in the development of a set of web pages that are meant to be used on touch screens. We use ordinary HTML, PHP and javascript for the pages. I wold prefer a serverside solution, but we also have access to the clients so if it's not possible a clientside solution would be acceptable. All clients use Internet explorer...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
