Help with list item css

I have a list item css as follows that I use on some pages:
li {
list-style-type: square;
list-style-image: url(Media/Bullet_A.gif);
}

Im trying to have no image on another list with a class:

<li class="menuA">< a href="" title="D">5 Steps to Fitness</a></li>

The css:
.menuA {
list-style-type: none;
}

The image is there untill i hover and it goes away permenently.

I dont want it there at all

The entire CSS for this menu is:
#navcontainer {
width: 200px;
float: right;
list-style-type: none;
}

#navcontainer ul
{
margin-left: 0;
padding-left: 0;
list-style-type: none;
font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
}
#navcontainer li
{
list-style-type: none;
}
#navcontainer a
{
display: block;
padding: 3px;
width: 160px;
background-color: #999999;
border-bottom: 1px solid #eee;
}
#navcontainer a:link, #navlist a:visited
{
color: #EEE;
text-decoration: none;
}
#navcontainer a:hover
{
background-color: #369;
color: #fff;
}
.menuA {
list-style-type: none;
}

The whole div is:

<div id="navcontaine r">
<ul id="navlist">
<li class="menuA">< a href="" title="D">5 Steps to Fitness</a></li>
<li class="menuA">< a href="file:///C" title="A">Nutri tion</a></li>
<li class="menuA">< a href="file:///C" title="B">Cardi o</a></li>
<li class="menuA">< a href="file:///C" title="C">Resis tance
Training</a></li>
<li class="menuA">< a href="" title="D">Suppl ementation</a></li>
</ul>
</div>
Thanks

You've changed the list-style-type property in the second style, but the
list-style-image is inherited. That's what happens.

Set list-style-image: none in the second style and you're set.

And check out http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/propidx.html

I am trying to parse an XML file obtained from a public WebService (see below). This file does not seem to be loading into a .NET XmlDocument right (I think it is because of all of the <Item Name="" Type=""></Item> elements). I need to get out the data for the <Id/>, Name="Authors", Name="Title", and Name="PubDate" elements. Anyone have an idea how to do this (I have tried to get them out short of dumping the doc out to a string and parsing it...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
