How to deal with it?

Hello,

In the following web page, the lower box is not intended.

http://www.geocities.com/pinyin59/brush.html

When opening the page off the Internet, there is not this box. But it
appears after the page is uploaded to my free web site on the
geocities.

Is there a way to remove the lower box? Thanks.

What lower box? The Geocities advertising? Switch to a webhost that isn't
advertising funded.

The "toupper" function takes an int as an argument. That's not too irrational given that a character literal is of type "int" in C. (Although why it isn't of type "char" escapes me... ) The "toupper" function imposes a further constrait in that the value passed to it must be representable as a unsigned char. (If C does not require all...

Hi, How do you guys deal with the different clinet resolution? For example, you have 800*600, 1024*768 and 1280*1024 on client side. We used to put everything into a table with fixed width (the lowest width of your clients' resolutions) then put everything inside the table with a percentage width. But for those clients with higher...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
