Hello everyone. First of all, apologies in advance if this is a question that gets asked all the time. I tried to search, but wasn't really sure exactly what to search for. Anyway, here's the issue. I've written a simple page in PHP. It displays just fine in Netscape, but for some reason the screen is absolutely blank in Internet Explorer. Here's the URL:

Hello everyone, I've developed a calendar program in javascript, and up until now I've done most of my testing using Mozilla and Firefox. Everything works fine, but when I try to use Internet Explorer my response time is sometimes 50 times slower than using Mozilla. I know I haven't given you much to go by, but I'm not looking for an answer so much as an approach to debugging the problem. For example, does anyone here know of a good...

Okay, maybe I'm just not looking hard enough, but I could really use some source code. I found some that works with IE, but I want to be able to do the same with firefox if possible. I know I can create an extension in firefox, but I don't understand how I can get that extension to call my program. I want to be able to right-click on text on a web page, and in the right-click menu that comes up, I want to be able to select my program. ...

I am looking for an answer to what might either be a very common problem or something specific to Mozilla Firefox users. Let me explain... Howdy, I have a simple file uploader in a form, and I take the image and check for the file extension. Now I when upload a jpg image in FireFox the content type is image/jpeg. When I upload the SAME EXACT file from the same location using Internet Explorer it registers as a image/pjpeg. My understanding is that IE translates it to a progressive jpeg and FF doesn't care. Any speacial reason why? Can I avoid this in the script so it treats...

I know almost zero about code, so if someone could help me fix it,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
