Make a sinlge long doc out of many

I hope this is at least close to topical here:

The html content I want to change is in the form of a series of many
pages, now accessed from a Table Of Content where the headings leads
to a new page with that subject matter.

Where the index is a page with links to
A B C etc

and clicking them lead to new pages.

I want to put all the many single pages into one big page and of
course have the links still work.

I hoped to find out there is a way to at least semi automate the change.

Hello, I would like to build a website using ASP.NET. I would like website visitors to be able to download code that I would like to make available to them and that would be residing on my personal server. Are there any code samples or books that someone can recommend so that I can implement this. I would prefer VB.NET code, but I am willing to convert from C# if necessary.

How does one launch multiple forms in an application? Using Photoshop as an example, this application seems to be composed of many 'disjoint' forms. Yet, they all seem somewhat 'active' in contrast to one of them always being 'modal' (e.g., if you are moving over a picture the 'Info' form will update the (x,y) screen location in realtime even if not the selected form. Also note that this example implies the various forms can communicate...

I can't make this script work properly. I've gone as far as I can with it and the rest is out of my ability. I can do some html editing but I'm lost in the Java world. The script at the bottom of the html page controls the form fields that are required. It doesn't function like it's supposed to and I can leave all the fields blank and it still submits the form. Also I can't get it to transfer the file in the upload section. The file name...

Now that .NET is at it's fourth release (3.5 is coming soon), my very humble question to the gurus is: "What have we won with the decision to have string objects immutable? Or did we won?" Ok. It's a broad, and maybe a very silly question to ask, but still. I mean, what good has it brought to us? What advantages immutable strings have against mutable ones?

I've always had a problem knowing exactly how wide my integer variables were in C, and the little program below has increased my confusion. Run on 3 compilers on the same cpu (32-bit pentium), sometimes int and long int are the same, and long long int is twice the width; or sometimes both long int and long long int are twice the width of int. This apparently all quite normal according to my c99 draft and c-faq.com. However it doesn't...

When I used gprof to see which function consumed most running time, I identified the following one. sz was less than 5000 on average, but foo had been called about 1,000,000 times. I have tried using "register sum = 0.0" and saw some improvement. My question is how to improve foo further to make it faster. double foo(double *a, double *b, int sz) { double sum = 0.0;

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
