How can I bring a page break while printing an html document using printer. I have two tables. One table should come in the first page and second table on the second page. Is there is any html tag for that?

In CSS, look into page breaks . Not everything works in all browsers but see if it works for you.

hi, I'm just getting started here in php, but i've been able to get some basic variable stuff working, so I'm just looking for advice on the basic set up of some thumbnail->picture pages. the thumbnail page will send the variable $picname to the picturepage.php. I'm thinking, picturepage.php would look like this: <? if($picname == "birds"){ $picture = "birds.jpg";

I recently wrote an ASP.NET app that used user controls. I produced a printer-friendly output form. One requirement was a pagebreak between one part of the form and another. I had no problem adding the style definition below in the <hr> tag (line tag) which was the last item in the page before the break: <hr color="gray" size="1" style="PAGE-BREAK-AFTER: always"> and when the form is printed it forces a page-break. However, now I'm...

I have a page that I'm making for the sole purpose of printing and this page makes 1.5 printed pages. Is there a way to force a print page break at a specific place so when the user prints the page, it wont arbitrarily break in the middle of a table or line of text? Thanks. -- moondaddy@nospam.com

What is the best way to force a page break when printing from a browser? A page in my application generates a series of tables which are usually less than will fit on a page of A4. Ideally I want to introduce a page break between each table when printing. I'm not sure what options I have available. I know there is some support in CSS but I'm no sure on the details or effectiveness. Thanks in advance...

So, we're looking for a way to display the page with a "please wait..." message while the process is running, and then, when the process is done, update the page with the actual results/page content. We have a page that opens another browser/page...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
