Spaced out text box problem, concatenating.

57 New Member
Hi all

I'm not sure what or if there is an explanation for this but....
I have a html form, which contains textboxes.
The form sends this way:
form method="post" action="mailto: anemail@work.co m?subject=form enctype="text/plain"
so it's recieved in a simple email.

Here's the problem:
If the textbox contains spaces the resulting email seems to contatenate or warp with the next line!! It seems to wrap one extra line per space in the textbox!! If the textbox contains NO spaces it appears on it's own line.

This only seems to happen if the text box contains over 30 characters.

Am I the only person who has experienced this?? i cannot find ANYTHING about it on the net.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Are you missing a quote above, after 'form'?

Okay, I checked with usual suspects and I'm still frustrated. ..txt file, fixed width. About 88 fields of varying length. All text fields. It will only let me add seperators to about the 410th position but there are 420 positions. What's going on?

I have a page using a master page the master page consists of a header and left column table template. In the content area of the default page, I need to place alot of text. I initially had a table with 1 column and a number of rows for each paragraph so there would be space between each chunk of text. However, all the text would not fill up the cells (rows) but instead only about 10 letters on each line appeared with the rest of the cell...

I'm trying to get a pop-up text decoration (idea from http://meyerweb.com/eric/css/edge/popups/demo.html) on my links (that are aligned to the right) so that when someone hovers over it with a cursor extra text appears, like so: link >hover link link This is the relevant section of my style sheet. #navigation a span {display: none;}

Hi all. I have a form which has a table and within the rows of the table are simple text input boxes. The ONLY problems with this is that when the form is posted (in text format) if the number of characters in a text box goes over 30 the next text box is concatenated in the email which the form sends!! The table with the boxes is here.... <form method="post" action="mailto:an.email@address.com?subject=EN$(FORMNO)"...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
