It should - the "cursor" property is part of CSS2. But, browser support for
it is pretty spotty.

Of course, browsers that don't support it will simply ignore it and use the
default cursor - hardly the end of the world.

Most of the cursors on that page do work on the current FireFox. Although,
one of the handful that *doesn't* work is the "cursor: <uri>" form that's
discussed in the WikiCodia article. :-(

Indeed, allthough it's not reliable to use uri's. Great tool to add
(named) cursor style to items having some functionality done by javascript
for example, especially the cross & resize variants I've used on more then
one occasion.

Hi, It's pretty unhelpful to post "I have a huge piece of code that crashes in strange places, what's the problem?" but that's basically my problem and I really am at my wit's end. The piece of code in question always crashes in an STL operation such as a vector.push_back, but the location of the crash changes as I change how various...

Hi, I'm developing a asp.net application and ran into a strange css problem. I want all my links to have a dashed underline and when they are hovered, it must change to a solid line. Sounds simple, but it's not working. I've cooked down my output code to show you what I mean. If you run the code below, there's no line under the link,...

I have a strange situation with my Access 2000 database. I have code in the database which has worked fine for years, and now all of a sudden doesn't work fine on one or two of my client's machines. The code opens MS Word through Automation and then opens a particular Word doc. It's still working fine on most machines; but on one or two of...

Hey all, I'm having a strange PHP (4.3.10) problem that seems to have something to do with javascript. This is a bit complex, so hold on to your hats. My issue is that a single function is wrongly being called twice. The weird part is that no "print" functions are being repeated, but any "lower" functions, such as fwrite or...

Hi everyone, I have found some bizarre (to me...!) behaviour of the Form_Activate function. I have a form which has a button control used to close the form and a subform with a datasheet view showing a list of jobs from the database. When the main form loses focus and the user clicks the 'Close' button, I kept receiving error 2585 (This...

I'm running into a strange seg fault with the module cjson. The strange part is that it does not occur when I run the code under Emacs' Pydb. Here's an example: import sys, cjson d1 = {'a': 1, 'b': 2, 'c': 3}

This behavior seems very strange to me, but I imagine that someone will be able to 'explain' it in terms of the famous C standard. -------------------- code ----------------------------------- #include <stdio.h> int main (void) { char xx="abcd"; char * p1 = xx;
