Frameset: no scrollbars. How?

lg
I want to have absolutely no scrollbars in my frames. I have

<frameset cols="298,298">
<frame src="test.htm" noresize>
<frame src="bar4.htm" noresize>
</frameset>

I still see vertical scrollbar. test.htm and bar4.htm have stuff that don't fit
to the frame but I still want to have no scrollbars. Can it be done?

I do not see any indication that you have ever heard of or read a spec,
but what do you think section 16.2.2 of the 4.01 spec says? How do you
interpret it so that you cannot answer your own question?

Thank you for your reply.
As you suggested I googled the spec section and there it was. I do casually edit
HTML pages but I am a novice in this regard. I got the help I needed.

But man, chill out! Grab a beer or something.

Hi There, I have a page that has links with some variables and I need to open the results set in a frameset. I have tried doing this in various different ways, but still cannot get the variable passed to the relevant frames within the frameset. What is the best way of getting this done. Thanks Hans

Hi, How can I create a dynamic frameset whose content changes based on user inputs? Specifically, how do I toggle a frame within a frameset? How can I allow a user to "close" or "dock" a frame by clicking on some button and let the parent update its frameset layout? What I've been trying to do is for the child frame to send a message

I tried to setup a frameset which consists of 4 different subframes. Each of these subframes should fetch a different web page from the internet and display it completely (!). BUT: the vertical size should be undefined. Depending on the retrieved (lets say 2nd) webpage the frame should take as much space as it needs to display the whole sub web...

I have a web app which comprises different frames: a menu bar frame, a search form frame, a result list frame. Depending on the state, only a subset of these frames is available. (Eg, after login, only the menu bar frame exists to allow the user to select a search form. After this, only the menu bar and the search form are visible.) Now...

Hello there, :) I need a frameset that will have the same look and behavior in Firefox 1.5+ as it does in IE 6+. Here is a URL for it: http://66.51.164.93/fs/default.htm In IE, the "seam" between the three frames is blue, 4 or 5 pixels wide, and -- most importantly! -- draggable! It is great -- in IE, that is. Is it possible to have...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
