I don't see that at all.
You have rows and cols listed twice.

I found this forum very useful at times and I believe I should share some knowledge with you as well.

The problem is fixed in FF by correctly declaring the order of your rows and cols values.

You need to declare rows=" " first and then cols=" "

More info on the textarea tag: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_textarea.asp

I don't think that makes a difference, and it shouldn't. I don't recall this thread but noticed he is using the 'wrap' attribute which is proprietary to IE and isn't a standard.

Hi. I think that happens when you write a veeeeery long string. In example, when you want to test your fields, maybe, you enter a lot of chars:

akjshdakljshdka lsdhfoiuahlkew4 rfhawiorhlaiweu rhliawevurhlia

when this string is larger than the textarea's width, FF has no option but scroll horizontally... .

But if you separate it, like

laksjdalksj laksjdlkasj jlaksjdlaks akjsdkak lak kajska jha

Firefox will scroll as It shoulds...

Hope to be helpfull.

PD: Sorry for my english.

in firefox, long strings without spaces cause a horozontal scrollbar to appear at the bottom of any given textarea. for example, if your textarea supports 50 characters, and 100 consecutive non-space characters are entered, stretching will occur. is there a fix for this, using javascript?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not.
