Wierd glitch on webpage

At one time, the page at http://oil4lessllc.com/StripperWells.htm was
perfect.
I made one minor change with what seems my un-trustworthy editor, and
now i see those damned blue boxes around "US", and "I" thru "V".
Furthermore, they are no longer perfectly aligned in IE.
How can they be fixed?

This:

img { border:0; }

in the css section will get rid of the blue borders. As for the mis-
alignment in IE, I'll have to dig into it and get back to you.

(Btw, the source of your page is really nicely laid out.)

The "problem" is that different browsers have different default body
margins. Also put the following in the css head section:

body { margin:8px 10px; }

Works for your _particular_ layout. Note that you'll have to adjust all
your absolute positionings if you move the map image or it's moved by
browser considerations.

The boxes (strictly, "borders") are because your images are links;
they're the image equivalent of a browser putting a text link in blue
and underlining it. Just add the following to your stylesheet to
over-ride the browser defaults:
img {border: 0px}

By the way, your map doesn't have a label for DC?

OK. Here is a glitch, sorry if this has been mentioned before. This is an erratic glitch. I am now up to three other people besides myself who have been able to see this glitch. It seems it only happens in IE. And the <hr> causes this thing to happen. Now, I have ~tried~ to make this glitch, and that is tough to do. I had did it...

Hi, I'm experiencing a wierd problem with IE 6 in Windows with two _slightly_ different Version. Give the following HTMl-Code, ideally the output of offsetTop should be "105"; a few pixel plus minus would still be ok, whyever. I've tested this successfully on 6.0.2800.1106 on a german W2KPro machine, also with 6.0.2800.1106 on a german...

I've been fighting with the Page_Load event firing twice. I looked through this user group and saw several other people having similar problems. There were various reasons for it: AutoEventWireup="true" instead of AutoEventWireup="false" Spyware software And having your events all wired wrong I had done everything to my machine, stripped...

I am confused about the use of the template parameter "E" in the below class. Since when is it allowed to use these parameters like "E(1)" and what does it mean (where can I read more about this kind of use)? template <typename E> class Mytest { public: Mytest(int n) { s = E(0);

Hi all; I'm a bit curious about a little glitch I'm having... I'm not ready to disable the mouse wheel yet because I'm hoping for a simple fix! On a tabualr form, if you roll the mouse wheel down, the top record disappears. This happens even if the number of records visible donesn't even fill the total space the form is allocated. This...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
