Trouble with height style attribute and IE

its easily explained. I am using a div to draw a line and its supposed
to be 1px in height. Firefox does it... IE not... But why? I have
already set border, margin and padding to 0px but still its way too thick.

Can somebody explain this to me maybe and help me find a fix for it, please.
<title>Inkbox </title>
style="position :absolute;backg round-color:black;lef t:0px;top:100px ;width:300px;he ight:1px;border-width:0px;margi n:0px;padding:0 px;"></div>

Look below you'll see the font I added to your div tag. Setting the
font face to 1 point and the line height to 1 point should fix it even
though you have no text in the box.

style="position :absolute;backg *round-color:black;lef t:0px;top*:100p x;width:300px;h eight:1px;*bord er-width:0px;margi n:0px;pa*dding: 0px;
font:1pt/1pt arial,sans serif;"></div>

I've got the problem described in the table above. I've put a div red with some text inside a TD, but its height is less than 100% of TD height as you can see. I've defined the following styles: div.test { background-color:red; height:100%; width: 100%; } table.test { border: 1px solid #CCCCCC; background-color:yellow; } td.test {...

I am completely baffled... i cannot for the life of me get the HEIGHT style to work on a table in the new 2005-supported XHTML. I put a HEIGHT: 100% on my table so that my footer row will also show up at the very bottom of the page (unless content pushes it further down). But when the browser renders the page, its as if there was no height...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
