Resizable table

A project I'm working on uses a web interface for a lot of tabular data.
The plan was to use a table, but what would work better would be a
resizable grid like a spreadsheet uses. Anyone know of a relatively
easy and flexible way to do this? Since this will be an embedded
project done in C, most of the tools I have seen won't work.

Thanks,
Dave

You're going to have to explain what you need a bit better than that.
Does "resizeable " refer to the number of rows and columns or the
physical size of them?

If the latter, HTML tables will do that by default. Only if you go
specifying widths does it not flow to the viewport (or containing
element) size.

I figured I would post my solution to the following. Resizable column tables. Search and replace values in a table. (IE only) Scrollable tables. Sortable tables. It is based on a lot examples I found on the web. Works in IE and mozilla. http://www.imaputz.com/cssStuff/bigFourVersion.html

Hi all, I am using an Ajax based resizable table on this page: http://connectnote-dev.com/accounts/testpage Works great in FF but in IE6, if the column widths are increased too much then the table spills over into the gray nav column on the left. Any ideas how to prevent this?

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
