synchronize two tables on popup form in Access

I have two databases that are linked with data from both of them on a form with subforms. I am out of screen display space and would like to create a popup form to add additional information and calculated fields(controls). Specifically, I have linked a new table that has at this point has only the the product number linked to the product number in another table that also contains the cost which is the only other field in this new table. I will create calculated markups on this new form and also add other fields to the table and form later after it works--haha.
I hope this makes sense --how do I do this? I have looked at a lot of info on the forums but have found nothing that seems to answer my question.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
