Oracle Vs Teradata

Which is the best between Oracle,MSSQL and Terdata?

That's like asking whether a Toyota, Honda, or Nissan is better. They all do the same basic thing, but they each have different strengths and weaknesses.

"Best" is a relative term, and may differ from person to person.

Yeah i agree with that. all of these comes with their own bunch of pros and cons. But still i will place Oracle one notch higher than any other database.

Sure, Oracle is great. It comes in so many "flavors" too, so you can run it on windows, AIX, linux, many different platforms. Also, it can be customized greatly.

But then again, MSSQL is relatively easy for a beginner DBA to pick up and effectively administer. Much smaller of a learning curve.

I've never heard of Teradata, so I can't comment on that one.
