Lininking erros ie.error LNK2005

Hi,

I am facing following errors while building my application.

Error 4 fatal error LNK1169: one or more multiply defined symbols found C:\Documents and Settings\chirag.patel\Desktop\Game\GameTest\Debug\ GameTest.exe 1

Error 2 error LNK2005: "void __cdecl operator delete(void *)" (??3@YAXPAX@Z) already defined in LIBCMTD.lib(dbgdel.obj) uafxcwd.lib

Error 3 error LNK2005: "void * __cdecl operator new[](unsigned int)" (??_U@YAPAXI@Z) already defined in LIBCMTD.lib(new2.obj) uafxcwd.lib

Error 1 error LNK2005: "void * __cdecl operator new(unsigned int)" (??2@YAPAXI@Z) already defined in LIBCMTD.lib(new.obj) uafxcwd.lib

Please anybody help me to come out from these errors and also give me precise reasons why these errors are generated.

Hi patelcm22! Welcome to bytes.com!

It's great to have you here!

When you post, please always keep to the Posting Guidelines and when you post code, please post it in
...
tags.

About your question: You don't state at any point of your question, what language you're using, neither do you give us any of your code. From what I can see, it could be C / C++, but I may be wrong. Anyway, please post your question with the relevant code in the appropriate Forum. You can find the various Forums by holding your cursor over the "Forum" button at the top. If you can't find a matching Forum, use the Misc Questions Forum instead.

Otherwise, I'll just wish you the best and hope you enjoy being part of bytes.com!

Greetings,
Nepomuk
