Sim Engine

I'm sure some of you have heard of NHB or UMS . They are both MMA sim engines. Along with that there are many pro wrestling sim engines out there. All of which are text based. Basically I am wanting to make to a college style wrestling sim. I was wondering if anyone on here had maybe a template idea or something to get going on this.

thanks

Are you looking to make something like a video game? Could you be more specific?

Go to http://ultimatemmasimulator.wordpress.com/ That site lets you download the UMMS Sim engine. Its just a mixed martial arts text sim. It has stats for fighters like chuck liddell and rampage jackson and such and then you enter them in a fighter and it gives you a winner along with a worded play by play to read. Downloaded its not a really big file and you will see what I am talking about.

I want to do a text based sim just like this one but with college wrestling and I just need like a template of some sort on how to get going. I know a heck of alot about wrestling. But not much about scripting. I have made basic video games with Game Maker but thats alot different. If I could make this with game maker that might be easier but I do not believe you can.

So it isn't really a video game It just picks who's going to win what fights and gives you play byplay text. You can also create you own fighter with stats.

Hopefully I cleared it up for you. Anything I didn't mention just ask.

Thanks
