What do I do?I have average math ability

Many a time people say there's no programming without a good math ability.I was wondering if a student with average math ability can really make his mark in software development/engineering.For me,I want to go beyond app development;basically developing system softwares/utilities,but then I think I have an average math ability.Do you really think I can make my mark.
What do I need to do if I can.

Having poor math skills will make your job harder. You can still make your mark and to make this mark you will need this: http://www.amazon.com/Discrete-Mathe...0075724&sr=8-1
and this:

So far, I haven't needed much more than trigonometry knowledge to make any of my programs. What I notice, though, is that if you have logical math skills (i.e. understanding proofs, thinking through word problems and such, able to follow a series of logical steps to complete a problem), you will often have a lot of skills necessary in programming (i.e. understanding why a solution is, in fact, correct, working through a word problem to determine your objectives, and able to create an algorithm to serve your needs).

The best way to know if you can make it is to try. Go for it!

Improve your math skills; having poor math skills is not an impossible hurdle to overcome. I have known many people who have had weaknesses in some areas but after a lot of time and effort toward correcting those weaknesses, they actually became their strengths.
