Software or program for sorting music

3
You might also have the problem that the music on your computer is a mess. Programs like WMP or iTunes are not capable to identify the music and sort it into categories. I am looking for a solution (a program, a mod or a add-on) which scans my computer for music, erases duplicates, adjusts volume, categorizes in genres & quality, adds missing titles and artist names. I don’t want to spend a year doing it on my own. Looking forward to your help!

Yeah, you let us know if you find such a program because it would be, by far, the most popular out there after it is discovered.

Personally, I don't rely on a program. When I rip music or add to my collection, I manually make sure that whatever I am adding conforms to my naming convention that I have defined previously.

I haven't played with either of those, but I have been playing with the JRiver Media Center and it seems to work pretty nicely.

A slight correction. What I am using is the JRiver Media Jukebox and not their media center. Sorry about that.
