remove adverts from my website

mikeak2001
Hi everyone!

Just wondering if anyone can help me here, I have my own website that i am currently working on, I have a fully qualified TLD and my site is hosted with HyperPHP. Everything has been going well until now! so here is my question!

Someone has added advertisements to my website, if I view the source code, I can see the additional java code, but when i log into my hosts control panel and edit my coding the advertisment code is not there! Does anyone have a clue what the hell is going on? My host offers free web hosting with no advertising so im pretty sure its not them!

Here is a pic of whats happening! For information I have coded the website in PHP HTML and JAVASCRIPT

Does anyone know how to remove these painfull adverts and do you know how they got there?

thanks in advance
mike

i don't see any ads.
Could it be that you are running Firefox with AdBlocker?

sorry guys,

when you go to the site, click the logo to enter, then on the right click on the @ sign in the menu, this takes you to my contact page, scroll down here and it should be there!

i've tested my site on 3 different computers in different locations and its there on all three! on one of the computers there were ads on the front page, the download page and the contact page!

sorry, should have supplied more info from the start!

here is some code i extracted from the source! the
</body>
part is the end of my body code then this part seems to be added somehow!
</body>

Heya, Mike.

Not seeing it. Is it only on your site, or do you notice it on other sites that shouldn't have ads?

This guy had the same issue. It was resolved with a call to the site host.

Thanks for the replys, this is only happening on my site and thanks to the second reply as this is very similar to my problem! im contacting the host as we speak to find out whats going on! I will update my post a little later when I get a reply!

does anyone know if this can be done by anyone that isn't the host! I know the host will have access to everyones websites but prevention is better than a cure as they say, so i would like to know more about this so I can understand more about how this works!

thanks

ok, here is the update,

Turns out that the host has changed policies. their excuse for displaying adds on my site is due to ever rising costs. They won't be removed unless I upgrade to a premier account, even though their small print says there is no forced advertising on the free accounts!

i'd just like to thank you all for the help but i have just one more question!

If I pay and upgrade my account I get a free domain name of which i don't need as i've purchased my own, this is why i'm looking for a free host, as hyperphp is forcing adverts on my site and im being forced to move hosts, does anyone know of any code i can use to stop the adverts? If i get kicked off the host then it won't really matter!

Heya Mike.

Sorry, but that's against the rules here at TSDN. We will not help you circumvent your web hosting company's rules.

If you want to get rid of the ads, pay the $100 a year (or whatever it costs) for professional hosting.
