Creating a unique IDs for separate PCs that have identical hardware configurations

we have a peculiar situation where 5 PCs in a school are showing same processor and Hard disc id - is this possible? we need to devlop unique identifier for each PC to consolidate usage reports of each PC - need help very urgently

each computer should have a different mac address and/or you can rename those computer (ie. school1, school2, ..., schooln)
