What is the name of this program?

Hello,

I recently was in a conversation with some friends and my one friend told us about how his younger brother had all his passwords.

When my friends "questioned" his brother about it, he wouldn't tell him how he did it, while we were talking about this another friend said he probably installed a program that tracks every key that you press and it wouldn't be hard to do seeing how all they have have to do is search through everything you typed and find your user name and then the word right after was your password.

Is there really a program like this out there?
