webdav problem with vista

I'm connecting to a remote server using webdav. On xp I can read, add and delete files. But for some reason on windows vista I can't add files, I get the following error message when I try to upload a file(any type e.g. html, gif) using windows explorer (I've mapped a network drive to the server). error- the file cannot be accessed by the system 0x80070780.
