menu hilight color in vb6

HI,

will someone plz give me an insight into how i can hiilight a selected item in a menu using custom colors(i mean any color other than the default boring navyblue).i dont want to highlight the entire menu when the mouse is over it....i just want to highlight a single item when the mouse is over that item....

am completely clueless...............
(PLZ GIVE ME THE EXAMPLE USING VB6)

For that no need to write any code ,just change your windows system settings.

Change the appearance of display properties.

hi debasis i think u didnt get my question...

i want this highlighting effect to be done with menus created for vb application

hope u got me.......
