Wordpress

Hi
Just started using "wordpress" this week in order to build a site/blog; complex piece of kit, even to download!
Luckily I havent needed to do that as the site is for a local charity who have support with a webpublishing conglomorate and they hooked me up with a password and a rough skeleton to be getting on with> Was wondering if any members have any experience with it (it is quite a new package: http://wordpress.org/ )
and if so would anybody consider posting a new board about it?

I hope so, whilst the forums at wordpress contain a lot of key information and have so far answered some crucial questions for me an objective perspective would be absolutely invaluable at this stage>

Well the site is developing well, I am really pleased with the simplicity of W/P and following tweaks it doesnt look half bad.
Not up to add-ons yet but not long now:)
Anyway, it is a site for a local Amnesty International group and I am toying with the idea of integrating the code suggested : http://irrepressible.info/addcontent
to help with the Irrepressible Info campaign
Let you know if I do and how I get on
