Filing in C#

hi to all
respected members i am new to c#.net and have a project which is
"i have a notepad file that contains call related features and records of customers from sql server 2000 what i have to do is to get that file and develop a software in C#.Net which get that notepad file and then i read each line of that file independently and seperate first name, lastname, total calls, duration, date etc
in independents fields on front end form and atlast i have to make a report of customer bill."

could anybody kindly guide me in this project.
i would be very thankful and any positive response in this regard will be highly appreciated..
