Native code is the machine code of the processor the program will run on.

Every processor has a reference manual that gives it's instruction set. The instruction set is the set of the instructions that the processor implicitly can do without any programming. All programs are made up by executing a list of instructions from the instruction set.

When you compile the compiler reads your source code and then outputs a file in machine code that produces the equivilent action in the processor instruction set.
