Already made community networks

I was not sure if such a question would fit in this place, yet thought better to try then not to. I am actually at this moment looking for an already made community based program -- where it would have features such as IM, business meetings, places where you can store folders of info -- and folders within folders (until your heart is content), a run-on chat -- where people get to post to the discussion when they wish (kind of like is going on here), and you get to create groups, group posts, and other forms of organization --- yet it still lets you create a pretty outside page.

The programs I have seen are way overpriced, and some say that you have to stay on their server (which becomes a monopoly as they can raise prices too high), etc. As well as it is difficult to find one with all that I am looking for.

Does anyone know of a fair-priced community-based program out there, where you could use it on other servers, with the features that I need?

Thanks!

Something that would be kind of like a program like myspace.com -- yet some things that I need are much different. Oh, folders --- I am referring to, there will be a variety of projects to work on in which there might be Many large topics, and so you might separate the topics, yet a larger topic itself will then need to be separated -- so inside that folder, you now have several folders, which might each have various folders in them, etc. Basically --- discussions and projects -- and you are able ot subcategorize them as much as you want.
Thanks for the info! I will try to google what you are talking about.
