Does anyone know a site or book or person or. . .get the point!
that can help me understand Java programming specially on the web
plus can anyone tell me how to blog?
regards :-)
Write a blog in java, you'll find out how to both by yourself, which will make you an expert!
Seriously, though, program everything and anything in Java. Or at least try to. I would especially forgo the book and just use Google whenever you have a question 'java myquestion' and Sun's javadoc will probably be one of the first hits you get back. (If you learn to read and navigate the javadocs on your own, you will do very well - that type of independence and ability to learn and discover on your own will be one of the first steps to becoming a good programmer)
As for the blog ... there's not too much to learn there. One could argue that this forum is just a multi-user blog, so yeah....can't really help you there, you seem to have language skills... go forth and blog!
Oh, I'd also recommend not taking it too harshly when people flame your code. Everyone has written a program they're not proud of, it's a matter of your own style, and what you are able to learn from the flame. Obviously if it's some guy just trash talking, you can't learn much, so then don't take it personally and ignore them, but they might have a good point about your code, and they're just demeaning you because they have no social skills - which tends to happen in programmers/the computer industry.
